What does the PTN do?

The PTN is a board of volunteers that are parents, grandparents, aunts uncles, and more to students at EDUPRIZE. We are a nonprofit group that raises money for school events and activities.

What events does the PTN bring to the school?

The PTN hosts the following events and activities :

How can I participate without being on the actual PTN?

The PTN would not be able to put on any of these events without the help of parent volunteers! You can always volunteer and help the PTN without having an official seat on the board. Signup Genius forms are always sent out before events for those who want to help.

You can always attend a PTN meeting as well. We host them monthly and this is where you can get the inside scoop about upcoming and past events. You will have opportunities to voice your opinion and give ideas!

How do I join the PTN?

Want to make it official? Email the PTN president at QCPTN-President@eduprizeschools.net. Confirm your interest and if there are open positions, we will give you a form with duties and responsibilities. You will then sit down with two members and have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more.

Why are there separate events for boys and girls?

EDUPRIZE is a large school! Due to this, it is not possible or safe to host an event for the entire school at one time. Ther are capacity issues in the gyms and safety issues in the walkways with such large crown. To accommodate this issue, PTN has two separate events for the boys and girls, as well as off campus whole family events. This has proven to be the most logical and best outcome for our events.

Where does the money that I donate go?

When you donate to the PTN via fundraisers, restaurant nights, and other sources, the money goes straight to supplies needed for events, fulfilling teachers' wishlists, supplies and materials for school programs.

No, the Facebook page EDPURIZE QC Parent Connection was created by parents looking to connect with other parents of EDUPRIZE students. While you may find a lot of valuable information here, it is not always the best or most accurate source for PTN-specific details. How can I pay for items?

Each fundraiser, sale, and donation have different forms of payment. The following forms of payment are accepted by the PTN

Card-via the Website

Paypal- Must include student name/teacher/product

Zelle-Must include student name/teacher/product

Check-made payable to EDUPRIZE PTN **If there is a bounced check-PTN can no longer accept checks from the person, and you may be subject to a fee.

Cash

Class Shirts vs School Shirts

Class shirts are T-shirts picked and designed by your student's teacher. This is a specially designed shirt that your student will predominately wear for field trips and class spirit days. The PTN has no input on these shirts.
School shirts are designed and sold by the PTN. There is a new design each year for school spirit. These shirts are school-wide and not classroom-specific. These shirts are part of a fundraiser for PTN to raise funds for events.

When paying for a school shirt and a class shirt, please pay with two different methods and use two different order sheets. We need to keep track of the money separately and as PTN, we do NOT place the orders for the class shirts.
